THE SAVANT INDIAN MUSIC THAT GROOVES
The Amrat Hussain Brothers ensemble is the heir of musical knowledge that has been perpetuated for seven generations by a prestigious family of Indian musicians. Composed of three brothers from Jaipur, Rajasthan, who received the demanding teaching of their fathers and grandfathers, the trio carries a true musical heritage.

It presents the classical and Sufi repertoire of northern India.
The ensemble consists of Amrat Hussain and Teepu Khan at the tablas and singing, and Sanjay Khan playing the harmonium, the kartaals (a sort of Indian castanets) and singing.

Their musical language, imbued with virtuosity, subtlety and elegance, takes the audience into a fascinating universe. The great mastery of their art and their complicity on stage give their performance a great expressive power, a rare intensity.

This show takes you towards a sublime elsewhere surrounded with an aura of mystery.

Programmed in major festivals and venues all around the world, their concert is a must-see of the next season. An enchanting and exciting journey.
